ever seen this. I got a movie once and the trailer for this was on there.

I have seen it and I LOVED it. I used to have it recorded on vhs from tv. It got recorded over and I was so upset!! I have been searching for YEARS trying to find it. I even wrote to sarah buxton once about it and got no reply!! If anyone ever finds out where to purchase this please pass it on. I used to watch this movie over and over and over!

shareI was there on the set with a friend whose car was used in the film (a yellow and white '54 Ford Skyliner, visible in about four scenes). Several scenes were filmed in Monrovia, California, standing in for the San Joaquin Valley town of Turlock. By the way, the movie is set in 1962, not 1952. It was an early Fox Network made-for-TV production.

shareI'm from Turlock and so was so excited when the movie came out - I was in jr. high or high school.
I personally thought the movie was awful and the only reason I would want to see it again is simply because of its setting :D
