Did jeff and jennifer ever dated when they were teenagers?How did jeff get better if he left the school so young?Why didnt he keep in contact with everyone when he left?His master and Jennifer

he got good because he had already achieved a black belt and got his ring then left to live on his own after his father kicked him out the reason he was still good was because of practice

There is nothing to indicate he dated or went out with Jennifer.

He got better because he kept training.

It is mentioned that he hasn't talked to his father since he left. Probably because his dad was a complete dick. He obviously phoned the Asian guy regularly.
