Was this lovable trash supposed to be released in theaters????
I ask because there are obvious curses bleeped throughout.
In one scene the best man says "sh*t"
and in another, Kelly looks at the bride and clearly mouths the words *beep* you"
So Im pretty sure TV movies in 91 werent that much more racy so what gives? What was the intention of the producers. Anyone know?
You know, it's funny. I've only ever watched this on network TV. I saw it on the USA network back around the time it was first out and I had thought all this time that it was a made for TV movie. I've seen it maybe a couple times and I don't remember it being bleeped for language content. I just bought a copy on VHS and was surprised that there were curse words in there, plus I didn't remember that little sex scene between the bride and groom to be. I actually caught a glimpse of saggy breast on Sammi Davis as she was getting into bed, lol. Now I'm curious to know what channel originally aired it.
shareI just watched it, October 2022, as part of LMN's trashy "Evil October Brides" rotation. The sex scene you mentioned here has been sadly removed! There were a couple of racy shots at the strip club, and another of Sammi Davis' very perky and not saggy breasts in the wedding dress. I had to wonder if those were really hers, because they looked magnificent.

On IMDB there is no theatrical release data. Was it too awful after completion that it went straight to HBO and VHS/DVD?
