Give me a break!!

The scene in which Julie Andrews pulls up in front of Ann Margret's unit or house is a little insulting.Now I could see if she had been in a limo but to have the neighbors act like a town car was reason to come flocking like band groupies was just pathetic.Also just because Julie was rich what right did she have to call on Ann-Margert without calling.If it had been the reverse she wouls have demanded that curtesy.

But, it *was* a limo, lol.

If a long, black, shiny limo with a driver pulls into your trailer park it'll draw your attention.

That scene rang false in so many ways – but thankfully, it was the only one that rang false. I cringed when I watched that scene and dreaded what was to come for the rest of the film, but I was very pleasantly surprised.

Yes, I really think it can happen. When a stretched-limo pulls into a residential area where there are lots of curious youth and aged men sitting around; it can most definitely draw their attention. Im talking about a densed area such as the one shown in the film, not the tree-lined quiet townhouse area where some residents have their noses up in the air acting like I've seen it all, { see comments above }

Also.... a great example would be.... minutes earlier when the chauffeur asked for direction of specific # after arriving the area, a local older resident got excited, after his reply he added," who is in there, Ray Charles ? "
There is just a general/common curiosity about who's in the limo, could it be someone famous? .... then again, maybe not for some, who's seen it all : }
