The best part of this movie...

was how Bill Paxton caught the bad guys, despite being made fun of from the good guys.

I've simplified it, but as a man who has lived both north and south, east and west...people tend to see the south as uneducated and backwards.

That is not the case.

Actually, I didn't really like that part.

Firstly, him shooting the bad guys was hardly an achievement. He should have arrested them. If he had just wanted to blow them away he should have done that the moment they walked through the door. That way he would have saved Lyla's and his life (assuming that he dies in the end).

Secondly, I hated how Lyla ruins everything twice. The first time when she makes Bill Paxton's character turn around, so one of the bad guys can come close to him and stab him. And the second time when she saves Billy Bob Thornton's characters life as if he was someone who would be worth saving.

It just seemed forced, so that the ending would be dramatic.

The best part of the movie for me was the fear on Bill Paxton's face as he realises that the bad guys are pulling up to the house and he is all alone. Very rarely is this human quality shown during a stakeout, especially by the hero.

'I'm the bad guy? How'd that happen?'

best part...the credits.

the credits really did stand apart from everything, what an acheivement!

I liked it when Bill Paxton first met up with Lila in the kitchen at the house and he made her turn around to frisk her. She's so sexy, I would have frisked her. Then later, she went up to him, pulled down his pants and kneld down too, I knew what was about to happen if he didn't stop her.

Was how good Michael Beach's character was with a knife. I believe he could have held his own (and maybe then some) in the _Dune_ universe.

Ozy

And I stood where I did be; for there was no more use to run; And again I lookt with my hope gone.

the way his character was written was great. and paxton was great with his performance too.
