different translations: which is the good one?
I've seen two different englishsubs, with several
differences that -at some places- give a
different meaning to some situations:
One example:
[First version (following the script at nausicaa site)]
Toshio-san has been keeping the memory of the song
in his mind as a positive song, even though it was really a
song about procrastination which meant, "If today is not
good, why not put it off until tomorrow?" From this, I could
get a nice picture of his way of thinking.
[Second version]
That song, about putting things off, toshio took
in a positive, affirmative way.
I liked his approach to life.
Which of them would you (japanese speaking people) prefer?
