When they sell illegal DVDs like the one you are mentioning mikachu they often compress the images A LOT when they convert the film to "region free". The very term "region free" means the DVD is an illegal bootleg, 9 times out of 10.
Stick to the official DVD selling off Amazon UK. If you don't have a region free player just watch it on your computer. Most computers allow you to watch Region 2 movies.
