8/10. Here's why / Esta es la razón:
OMOHIDE PORO PORO (ONLY YESTERDAY) is such a powerful drama that it would’ve worked even if it had been live-action. The main flaw are the scenes of TAEKO OKAJIMA (the protagonist) as an adult. I don’t feel like they were relevant enough. They were more like breaks, which the story didn’t need. I mean, not every scene is sad. Actually, there are many hilarious moments.

OMOHIDE PORO PORO (RECUERDOS DEL AYER) es un drama tan poderoso que hubiera funcionado incluso si no hubiera sido animada. La falla principal son las escenas de TAEKO OKAJIMA (la protagonista) de adulta. No siento que fueran lo suficientemente relevantes. Eran más como pausas, que la historia no necesitaba. O sea, no todas las escenas son tristes. De hecho, hay muchos momentos hilarantes.
