The thing about Omen films

What are best, remakes or sequels? I prefer sequels. But I can understand that the audience share my opinion. A sequel will be of no interest for the big masses. With only small actors as Jonathan Taylor Thomas and so on... will lead to its flop.
But a teen slasher remake can bring in a new generation. They're filming the first one right now. A remake of the second film will be interesting if they make Damien a little bit younger than Sam Neill was. Maybe in the late teens?
