What would be the point of defeating the antichrist only to destroy the world after?

The reply made me laugh out loud. That's a very good question and quite funny when it is put in those words. But I think in the Bible it's supposed to be the end of the present evil age dominated by Satan and it being replaced by the Kingdom of God. That's what I think is implied at the end of the third movie by those messages that appear on the screen.

The original poster has a good point. In Omen IV the world is still continuing on like always. Jesus isn't ruling over the nations and hasn't brought an end to pain, tears and death and the United States government and probably other nation's governments seem to still exist in the Omen universe at this point since Mr. York is a politician and runs for a seat in the U.S. Congress even though it's implied at the end of the third movie that Jesus has changed the world and ended pain, tears and death by establishing the Kingdom of Heaven on Earth so I think Omen IV is kind of a mistake. I still like it for what it is though.

Eh, the world was going on business as usual during what was supposed to be the end times in Omen III, so I can see it doing so here as well.
