I had no idea this movie was regarded as a stinker

I've loved this movie since I was a kid, and honestly it's a thousand times better than some others like say, Wedding Crashers, that are thought to be funny.
Nothing But Trouble deserves more love!
I mean, the millionaire siblings, Eldona, and the bone stripper?? COME ON!

You need to study film history.

It's not a stinker. It's just not art-house cinema. This is classic comedy, with John Landis directing and a slew of great comedians. Even Demi Moore was invited to this crazy party! lol. Taylor Negron was great in it, as was Tupac.

If someone actually looks down on this little hilarious film, you know they are not worth knowing. Its a great test.

BTW: the critic that wrote above me likes the movie Gus and he likes Jeff Dunham. That should disqualify him as any kind of critic, automatically. lol

If some scenes would have been in that beetle juice/ Burton type of style, maybe the critics would have been a little more kind. Some of the junkyard scenes could have been filmed that way and the budget was certainly large enough to handle it.

I remember the reviews when the movie came out and Siskel & Ebert hated it. I knew it was bad even as a kid watching it on VHS.
