don't care much for Wesley but....

He was amazing in this film. I'm not a big fan of Wes but be was convincing pulling off Nino Brown. Convinced me for a second there ...lol

Wesley Snipes is a very good actor but he did impress me with this movie. Very convincing as a bad ass, lol. This was one of my favorite roles by him.

Agreed :-D

"Wesley Snipes is a very good actor but he did impress me with this movie."

You mean to say:

"Wesley Snipes is a very good actor, and he did impress me with this movie."

Excuse the English grammar lecture, but the conjunction "but" connotes contrast (as illustrated in this very sentence). Both of the clauses in your sentence aren't in contrast; they complement each other.

Ever since I've seen To Wong Foo (the drag queen movie), I can't take him seriously anymore. Lol

Maybe that was the point. :)

Wesley was amazing in this movie. I watched it last night it was great seeing him as the bad guy.

You also forgot to mention that you don't care much for wesley snipes.

Thought he was good in NJC, but awesome as the conflicted kingpin in "Sugarhill", which btw was a much better movie ...

I've always liked Wesley Snipes, he has made some fun action movies. I went to this movie when it came out to see Ice-T and came out of there really enjoying the Wesley Snipes role. It was fun to see Judd Nelson play such a different role then he's ever played before. I also love the King of New York 1990 movie and it was fun to see Snipes play a detective then the following year play the gangster. This movie, Boyz N The Hood & Menace II Society are regular watches for me, fun time pieces in film history.

He was amazing ...
I don't think he was amazing, but he was the standout as far as charisma is concerned. The other characters were neither drawn that well, or simply lacked screen time to make much of an impact.🐭

New Jack City and Passenger 57 made me a fan of Wesley Snipes. Nino Brown was such a conniving character, yet he was so charismatic that it was hard to root against him aside from using a girl as a shield. Including myself, I know people who still quote Snipes from this movie.

Reboot, restart or re-imagining is another word for remake
