way too slow
the gore scenes were brutal but the pace of the movie and the pointless scenes were had to sit trough

Believe it or not, that was entirely intentional. Apparently Buttgereit got a particularly bad response to Der Todesking, which was much slower and more artistic than Nekromantic, and people freaked out, because they wanted another Nekromantik all over again, so he was pissed and decided to give them one, but one they might hate even more than Der Todesking.
sharei have seen part one and part two and wasnt impressed by either of them. the scenes are just too disgusting for my taste.
shareTylerDurden2003, where did you hear this story? I'm not doubting that it's true, I'm just curious. If that's really the case then it seems a bit immature... I can't imagine going through all of the work of producing a film out of bitterness like that.
However, it makes sense in a way... since this sequel seemed completely pointless. I enjoyed the first film for what it was, but this sequel was just irritatingly slow and didn't seem needed overall. It didn't top the shock value of the first movie and the story continuation didn't seem relevant at all. I feel like Nekromantik should have been a standalone film.
