What position did Sinbad play on the Armadillios?

Just wondering what position Sinbad's character played in the film?

Looks to me like he's a linebacker or defensive end on defense, and on offense a tight end or offensive tackle.

Someone should go teach them how to change the channel.

He's definitely a defensive end on defense because we see him on the line doing some trash talking in the movie.

Defensive tackles are also on the line, and they can talk trash, too.

True but he mentioned Linebacker as well and they are certainly not on the line.
