But, this is certainly NOT a film for everyone.
Brilliant Masterpiece from all involved.
Oh Weller (and I like him) has been in some tankers. Naked Lunch is pretty out there to appreciate. First viewing leaves you bewildered. Shouldn't be angry about it. Hell in the early '90's multiple viewings required effort and money. Watch it again 6 mo.s from now. It's an onion (which I HATE lol) with many layers. It's not an adaptation of the novel "Naked Lunch" by Burroughs...but more a metaphor for his life.
Think of 'Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas" to Thompson. Only less "cowboy" and more "secret agent".
Your opinion, I really like Naked Lunch. But if you hated it, you hated it.
