Regarding the so called consent age.
This seems to have been down to life expectancy through the ages. It might explain why Mary the mother of Jesus or the Bride of Mohammad seem to have been the choices. This persists in various areas of the world and I suppose in Islamic led nations even today.
The age of consent should perhaps be raised as life expectancy has risen. I do not know what the fertility period of a female was 2000 years ago but 40 was for a long time a fair length of life. We have no idea how to class childhood. Vote at 18 sex or marriage often at 16. Different states have differing rules. In the US alcohol allowed at 21, driving at 16 although restricted somewhat. It seems that CHILDREN can hump and drive but not drink or vote. The age of all this needs to be standardised. I am for the increase in age of consent. I also feel that many want lower consent age due to the fact the modern world does seem to be awash with various perversions.
Why is there a concerted campaign to lower the age of consent for homosexuality in the UK. Because so many like to have the pleasure of a younger male boy but wish not to be arrested.
