Mispronunciation of asseria's name is inexusable

How they pronounced Don Masseria's name Mah-SARE'-eee-ah instead of MAH'-sa-REEE'-ah as it should be pronounced is such a dumb goof. Anthony Quinn, the star of Fellini's Italian language movie masterpiece, La Strada, was fluent in Italian and made many films in Italy speaking it without a flaw. How he could let them call him Don Mah-SARE'-eee-ah, putting the emphasis wrongly on the second syllable, instead of correctly on the first and third, is simply ludicrous. To hear it repeatedly mispronounced makes it difficult to take this movie seriously. It's as foolish as watching a movie on Carmine Galante having to hear it pronounced gallant, or Capone pronounced capon, the way Senator Geary mispronounced Michael Corlee-ON at the Communion party in Las Vegas. Then, to add insult to injury, they needlessly altered the name of Salvatore Maranzano to Faranzano. Why did they alter this major character's name while maintaining virtually all the others, from Capone to Meyer Lansky to Lucky Luciano (also mispronounced as LUCY-ah-no instead of LOOCHY-ah-no). Thank goodness Quentin Tarantino didn't pronounced his movie, Da-Jang-oh instead of correctly applying the silent d.
