This was a good movie. Neil Jordan must be really into those twist endings. Later, he went on to direct The Crying Game. This movie is better. The pacing is about the same, but the ending was a little better than The Crying Game (which should've ended about 10 minutes prior to the ending Jordan opted on).

This still is a good movie. I had it taped from BBC TV in the 90's and watched it every now and then.
And a couple of months ago I found it on DVD from Ebay Australia.
i saw this without subtitles and couldnt understand a quarter of the dialogues because of the Irish accent. So what twist ending are you talking about ? I did not see any twist ending
