A very good, unique WW2 story with a Band of Bros feel

Even though this came before BoBs I couldnt help thinking that this would not have been out of place within the context of that series. It is probably because of the reverence and lack of glorification with which the story is presented.

Even so this is a very good stand-alone story/film and a unique WWII film. I am glad to have stumbled across it.
