WHERE CAN I FIND THE UNEDITED VERSION OF MEDITERRANEO (105 MIN)?

I have looked everywhere. I am in the U.S. (Region 1 or Region 0 NTSC), but am willing to get a different region (and watch it on my computer) to find the version that is 105 minutes (I hate watching films that have been edited).

Variety reviewed the 105 min. version of the film.

The film comes in 4 versions:
86 min
90 min
96 min
105 min

Does ANYBODY know where I can get the 105 minute version of this film? THANKS!

Hi Tuma,

the uncut italian version was released a couple of years ago in Italy, in a nice edition with a second DVD of extras. You can find it here:

it does have English subs. Pls be aware that this version was NOT the version that won the Oscar. Director Salvatores decided to cut it to present it to the Academy. So the cut version is actually the Oscar winning one. For years the long version was not available (albeit on VHS in Italy) because for copyright issue you can put the Oscar logo only on the version that won the Oscar, and a lot of distributors opted for the cut version in order to be able to market it with the Oscar logo.

If I were you, I'd want to make sure that the supposed time difference wasn't due to the speed differences between PAL and NTFC. Often when ONLY European prints show a longer time stamp it's because of this, not editing.
