Looks like it was made around Christmas 1990

I know most TV movies are made quicker than their feature film counterparts as TV movies can be filmed in a matter of weeks and air within a month, 2-4 months within the time they were filmed. I guess it's because the budget is lower and the post-production period is not as tasking as it is for feature films which goes through one hell of an editing process. These TV movies are filmed a lot like TV episodes so they don't take that long to get on the air.

THe movie was aired on NBC on Monday February 4, 1991 so it looks like the movie was filmed during November and December 1990. A couple of things made it obvious that it was filmed during that time and the first one was in the beginning of the movie I noticed an advertisement for Child's Play 2 in Times Square and I know that movie came out in early November 1990 a little after Halloween. The other obvious sign is that the movie showed a lot of Christmas shots and it was cold outside as well.

A lot of this means that the movie was done very quickly.
