I called it "MANNEQUIN - ON THE RUN" and set it similarly to the tone of the first movie more than the second. I would have Andrew McCarthy, Kim Cattrall, Kristy Swanson, William Ragsdale and Meshach Taylor's characters all in it and I thought my script was pretty good. Both movies are very cute and representative of
the still wholesome atmosphere of the 80' s and 90' s.
[ " The Dirt Bike Kid ", " Stay Tuned ", both " Fright Night ",
" April Fool' s Day, " The Heavenly Boy ", " House ", " Monster
Squad ", both " Waxwork ", " The Hidden ", " Army of Darkness "
" Night of the Creeps ", " Highway to Hell" ... among many many ]
Today you are hard put to find such watchable movies.
And because we today have become too sophisticated to appreciate
them, we are splattered in the face with the Uwe Boll touch.
Sorry in advance if i add that " Nothing but Trouble "
is a very funny movie and superunderrated by many of the
same people who " BOMB " both " Mannequin " [ among them
Mr. L.M., critic emeritus ]. But well, after all everyone
is entitled to his own opinion including ourselves, and
to my knowledge there are not yet KOMMISSARS for KULTUR
institutionalized, commit them instead of commississoning them.

Of course, _savage bren_ i would like very much to read your
script to appreciate again the air of the late good old Century
[ compared to our present one ]
And a great idea too, to make the actors of the originals come in
together, but don' t forget Stuart Pankin.
