Was Doris Roberts (Everybody Loves Raymond) even considered for the part of Vivian Vance? She's the only other TV person I can't look at or hear without thinking of Vance--and I obviously wasn't the only one who couldn't look at Brad Garrett on the same series without thinking of Jackie Gleason.

I really didn't like Maurice Bernard as Desi. If you were to cast anyone else, to play Desi who would you pick?
I didn't even see this TV-movie, and this is all I know about Benard. I just can't see or hear Roberts without thinking of Vance.
