A black guy turning white as he turns into a bad person.
shareSometimes, I wonder if this was a nod to Bryant Gumbel. Because, I remember people sayingback in the 90's he was "trying to be white." And in 1991, you really didnt have a lot of black men doing news depending on the news market. But Gumbel was all over the country.
The thing is, if you know the news business, its pretty much like that eventhough you see a number of black men and women doing news, its still pretty prejudice to this day. I've seen it first hand when interning for news stations.
Only thing about it was the way they were turning him "white" was disturbing.

I'm watching this movie on the DVR, since it's been so long since I've seen it 1 full time.
The thing in this movie issssssssss, it wasn't him turning so-called "white" or proper or anything. But the things he did, to do it. He sold his soul and he sold out his race/culture of individuals just to do it. The only story I really liked between his news stories, he covered the 911 situation, which will never change until the end of time.
