Any connection to Guns 'N Roses The Spaghetti Incident?

What a film called The Linguini Incident? Any connection to The Spaghetti Incident by Guns N Roses? I mean, TWO incidents involving pasta? Come on, I aint that dumb there has to be a connection. Has anyone managed to solve it? I know that Bowie and Axl Rose almost came to blows over some chick once. Really, I'm not kidding.

In the comic strip Calvin and Hobbes, Calvin frequently mentioned "The Noodle Incident," which is never explained. Maybe there's a connection!

I know "The Spaghetti Incident?" is a reference to a court incident by Steven Adler, the former drummer of Guns 'N Roses. Apparently, he was in court, suing the band, and while he took the stand, a lawyer asked him to name some abuses done to him by the other members of the band. Steven said something like, "The Spaghetti Incident." The other members of the band had no idea what he was talking about, and looked at one another, saying, "The Spaghetti Incident?" Adler then went on to explain that one time he walked in on Slash eating his leftover spaghetti. The band members thought that was amusing, so they called the album that as an inside joke type of thing.

What's this story about Bowie and Axl almost coming to blows over a girl?

From some webpage:
David Bowie
Axl allegedly punched David Bowie for hitting on Erin Everly (his current girlfriend). Bowie later approached Axl with a humble apology. Stay away from Axl's women!

Adler's lawer actually named his "Spaghetti Incident" after "The Linguini Incident."

Ironically, while linguini are slightly wider than spaghetti, "The Linguini Incident" is considerably narrower than "The Spaghetti Incident?" Neither this film nor the G N' R album is Bowie's or Axl's finest hour (and change). Why did G N' R add a question mark on the end of that album, anyway?

Tin Machine - the band of David Bowie and Hunt Sales (both who appear in The Linguini Incident) - planned to release a live album with a pun on Guns N Roses "Use Your Illusion" album. That album was to be called "Use Your Wallet" (the pun suggested by Hunt). The first Tin Machine live album - "Oy Vey Baby" - was a pun on U2's "Achtung Baby".
