How did this movie get rated so high?

Shamelessly manipulative schmaltz at the end. THe movie just didn't have a middle act. Opening, ending. That's it. Berg does your typical sympathy seeking hollywood mentally challenged role.

I didn't hate the movie as it was watchable. So what is the deal at the end? She has two husbands and they agree to all live in harmony?

Very amateurishly made movie, but OK for a cable viewing.

She wasn't married to the other guy. Her daughter said she wasn't even in love with him. I loved the movie.

Aliens are taking over the earth. Weigh it!

I felt sorry for the other guy. It wasn't fair that Willie had been frozen for thirty years and then all of a sudden just came waltzing back into Joy's life. The other guy (whose name I forget) seemed pretty sweet, and I felt the film was rubbing it in at the end when he was on the margins of all the pictures with a clear grimace on his face. He didn't deserve that.

That was the only thing I remember about this film, which I watched about twenty or so years ago; the other guy being side-lined and made to look like a schmuck.
