Could they do a sequel now?
Wayans and Willis and Black all back together again.
shareThis movie was not a hit, so I seriously doubt it.

Budget - $29,000,000
Box office - $59,509,925
Not bad at all, actually.
Wayans could, he still looks the same, Willis has kinda lost it since he went bald.
shareApparently, by the time they finished filming, Wayans and Willis despised each other.
shareReally? That's super-interesting. Do you have any links or background story to share about this? Just watched it for the first time in years, since it came out (when I saw it 2 or 3 times in the theater), and really enjoyed it even though it was a lot less believable than I remembered. Always wondered why there wasn't a sequel, because I thought it made money even if not blockbuster status.
You read a lot about how Bruce Willis went from being one of the most considerate and polite professionals in Hollywood during his "Moonlighting" days to one of the biggest *beep* in Holly Wood. I wonder how far along he was in the process when he made LBS.
The scene where he kills the guy who punches him twice is one of the best of his career.
Just rewatched this movie and was thinking they could possibly do a followup.
They could use the fact that Wayans and Willis don't like each other as part of the movie. Something like they have both become competing P.I.s in town and now their paths have crossed again for a new case.
