This is a fantastic Movie. The screenplay by honey irani is really very good.
And above all the direction by yash chopra and knock out performance by Sridevi. Lamhe will be sridevi's one of the best performances. She really deserved all the awards she got for Lamhe.

This was a movie where Sridevi and Anil Kapoor were equally good. Sridevi was the centre but Anil delivers the goods.

which part of the movie did you miss which explain that anil's character was never in any way related to sri devi's character???

he was pooja's father, maybe her legal guardian in the strictest sense of the word, for him she is someone who he meets 18years after the woman he loved died.

the 17yr age gap happens a lot even in india,

and where does incest come in this picture?

he isnt her father, or a relative, just a neighbour!
he never helped raise her too, doesnt know her as a child even...

Why...So..Serious? Let's put a smile on that face of yours!

For godsake, he was her legal guardian thats it. She wanted to just see that he didnt totally resent her and opened the gifts, its okay. He was not her uncle, even without a blood relation, so deal with it.
