Surprisingly good

I found this obscurity on VHS, probably for about a buck, and I was very impressed. I expected a cheap crime thriller, but instead I got a very effective mystery rich in atmosphere and emotion. The cast is very strong, the direction mesmerizing, and the pacing perfect. It's a haunting mystery that I won't soon forget. 8/10 stars from me.
