A Question for our European Friends

Hello Everyone -

I live in the United States and own an old VHS copy of Kafka. As you know, the film has been released in a Region 2 DVD version in Europe but a Region I version has not yet appeared, much to the chagrin of many.

When I saw this IMDB Kafka page, I noticed that pictures of the front and back covers of the DVD case were featured. The DVD's back cover includes several still photos taken from the film, one of which depicts Jeremy Irons in his shirtsleeves embracing Terri Russell. This particular photograph caught my eye because it is not part of the VHS version of the film, which I have seen many times. Does the DVD version of the film include new scenes that were not included in the old VHS edition?

Any comments would be most welcome.

Best regards,

George

I just saw the movie. I got the dvd from a magazine and it does have the back cover you mention, but there are no extra scenes in the movie. I guess it's just a still from the production. Hope i've answered your question!
