In 21 YEARS Paramount/Miramax can't press a R1 DVD of this cult classic?

I look around me and see an abundance of AMIME and remakes that are a pathetic substitute for the original.

And yet KAFKA -- which I grant you is probably beyond the scope of the average American viewer who couldn't contemplate art noir if someone gave him Cliff Notes AND a college degree -- KAFKA, a brilliant interpretation of "The Castle" worthy of any self-respecting student of Film, gets passed over.

This is a familiar gripe of mine, but I just realized that two decades have passed since this dark, disturbing film was released, and the omission is just unforgivable.
