Mike let Angie, her daughter, come back home at the end of the movie? I never understood that. You would think Mike being a hardcore racist wouldn't do that, after calling her a "disgrace to the Italians."

I disagree though. If that were the reason he wouldn't have went about it that way. He gives her a look for like a few seconds, as though he's thinking, before doing that. Maybe he was remorseful for hurting his daughter and who knows maybe warmed up to non-whites.
