I have a feeling we won't be that much closer to the truth, and the general feeling of Oswald acting alone will remain.

The general feeling among everyone alive at that time was that Oswald did not act alone. The alternative story that he did act alone was pushed in the media. So, now we see really the first use of the CIA manipulating the media to spin a political earthquake like an assassination into whatever it wanted to.

People are still talking about it because of the Zapruder film, and because of this powerful film by Oliver Stone. The head going backwards in the Zapruder film can be explained scientifically, but it has gotten people talking. Then you have the denial that Oswald made, and his sudden, suspicious killing.
