i luv Gabriel Damon and i want to see this movie!!!! Is it really as bad as everyone says????

No, I really liked the movie when it first came out. I liked the fact that it dealt with possible scenarios, then showed what really happened.

It has dated a bit now though. And it seems a bit depressing.

But if you like Damon, go for it. He's in the movie quite a lot.

The movie is set in a run-down old town, with most people out of work.

Hmmm, sounds like now, with maybe half of everyone that worked in the auto industry out of work (still in that industry, and supporting businesses), and a lot of housing related workers.

What's old is new again...

and still depressing.

No, it's not a bad movie. In my opinion, it's a good human drama movie but it's very depressing and that's what some people confuse it for because it's not a happy movie. It doesn't have a tragic ending, fortunately, but the ending is not a happy one.
