It was on tv in about 92, was riveting yep. I remember loving the music, can't believe the never released it on dvd although there are some vhs copies floating around on ebay, sigh.

it was repeated in 94 i missed the last episode (of 3) due to the wife going into labour . (selfish i know) but she bought me the book to make up for it .

It was very good, the BBC had a nice run of Barbara Vine adaptations at the time.
