Missing scene?

I saw that movie for the very first time 20 years ago and, thanks to a copy I just got today, was able to watched it again.

There's a scene that never left my mind that I was sure came from that movie, but I am not so sure anymore.

The scene in question feature a man beating is wife to death, although we don't really see anything, because the whole scene is shot from outside the house, and the only thing we see is the bedroom light (plugged into a "clapper") going on and off every times he slaps her.

If this scene is not from that movie, which might be the case because my copy seems to be complete, might any of you know which movie is it from?

I tried several searches via Google, but in vain... :(

PS: Sorry for my limited English writing.

I have a copy of this movie also. I don't remember that scene either. However, I do recall another scene that I think was in this movie, but it is not on my copy. It is a scene where Angela and Jerry go into the Taylor's home when no one is home after Theresa is reported missing. They enter through the garage, go down the upstairs hallway into the bedroom. At that point, Angela notices that Theresa's purse has been left lying on the dresser. She makes the statement to Jerry that Theresa would have never left without her purse. They then notice the small doorway that leads into the attic and Angela says "let's get out of here." Just wondering if anyone else remembers that scene? I was sure I had seen that in the movie when I first watched it.

Yes that scene where Angela and Jerry go into the Taylor's house is in the movie. But on current airings on YouTube, the scene is not there.

Yes - correct - the scene of the sister and brother-in-law going into the Taylor's home is in the movie... I think the earlier question was about the lights on the home flashing when Teresa was being beaten - that is NOT in the original movie... in that scene while Teresa is being beaten (inside the hyome) ... you can hear the baby crying. Then the scene shifts to the outside of the home in the dark...house lights on and baby still crying. Then the house lights go OFF as daylight arrives....
