what is the song in the background when play is fooling around with the girl in the back of the record store.

IDK the song but that girl was a busdown. she JUST met him and she's already screwing him.

The way I see it, Play just knew how to work his magic when it came to talking to the ladies (i.e., the girl with the thong later in film).
