Does anyone know the artist/title of the song at the beginning.... just after Kid says "Pops, about that party.... you were right to whoop my ass!"

If memory serves it was "Hard To Say Goodbye To Yesterday" by Boyz II Men. It was a big hit at the time. I think they couldn't afford to get it for the soundtrack. I think there was brief version of it (around one minute) on the soundtrack by another group.

Hmmm...I think they changed the music. I saw this film in the theater but I haven't seen it since. But distinctly recall them playing Boyz II Men during that scene. It was a big hit at the time and I was surprised that they had paid for the rights to the song. I guess they didn't want to pay for the video rights.

shareI know this is years later but they didn't actually play the Boyz II Men cover, it was by "The Flex" apparently. When I heard it I knew that it didn't actually sound like the boys.
