Did Kid have enough rivals in this movie?

Not only did he have Stab, Zilla and Pee-Wee to worry about from part 1, but he had to worry about Miles who tried to steal Sydney from him, Zora who looked like she wanted Sydney on the other team, and that mess hall sergeant(Mr. Lee). Even Play became more of Kid's adversary than a friend in this movie. I have a feeling that he only attended church because of Kid.

At least Stab, Zilla and Pee-Wee seemed to chill after they got their stripes. (noticed, they passed by Kid and didn't harass him at the end.)

Mr. Lee didn't come across as a rival, but rather a very strict and stern boss. (He showed concern for Kid when he found out about his money trouble.)

I agree about Play though. He was very selfish and reckless in this movie. (Case in point, giving Sheila Kid's check.) And remember, the pastor of the church praised Kid for taking the high road, and not the low road. and as he said this, he looked at Play.

I'm pretty sure it wasn't done deliberately, but K&P reminded me of Abbott & Costello here. Abbott often took advantage of and seemed hostile to his partner Costello ubtil they had to form a united front against bad guys.
