In The Walmart DVD Bin For $5.50

For those of you who don't have the film on DVD you can find it in some Walmarts in the $5.50 dvd bin. That's a great price for a great film. The DVD transfer leaves a bit to be desired but it's better then Part Deux's transfer.

I also bought a copy at Best Buy this holiday season. It was only $5, which I feel is a great bargain. I saw this movie way back when it was in theaters and laughed my head off, and continued to laugh every time I saw it on cable.

In Mexico senor, these are the years of sadness.

Nice price, I suggest you pick it up.
Good movie if you get bored in the afternoon.

I know! In the $5.50 bin I found a Johnny Carson DVD they released just after he died. It had 2 eipsodes of his 1950s CBS show, an episode of "Can You Trust Your Wife?" that he hosted and a Jack Benny episode he appeared in. I also found "Top Secret!" another good comedy and "Volcano" with Tommy Lee Jones. Also "Fatal Attraction" and "Deathtrap."

A word of caution to you guys who buy from the $5.00 bin at Wal-Mart. I bought 2 movies from the $5 bin (Bram Stoker's Dracula & The Chase) and have had nothing but problems with both. Dracula would freeze at parts and The Chase would not play. According to their policy, you can only return the movie for the same movie. Of course you know if you find it in the $5 bin there is no guarantee that you will find another copy.

But I think alot comes from the way the handle the movies too. When I returned both DVDs the clerk took them from me and tossed them over her shoulder into a tub of other movies. My boyfriend who was with me asked her point blank, "Surely you're not going to put those back out on the shelf to sell? You just threw them over your shoulder and we're returning them because they didn't work and NOW we know why!" If I hadn't talked to the manager I wouldn't have got my $10.00 back because of their policy.

And about HOT SHOTS!...its been 14 years since the movie has been released. Who else thinks an anniversary edition is way over due to be released?
