Platoon
It says in the "movie connections" it spoofs Platoon (my favorite movie) in what way does it spoof it? Anyone know?

shareThe Platoon reference was indeed in Part Deux, but it wasn't Platoon, it was Apocalypse Now, Topper, Ramada, and the rest of the gang are on the river patrol boat, which then passes another boat with Martin Sheen riding on the bow doing the internal monologue from the same scene in Apocalypse. Charlie and Martin exchange comments about loving each other in different movies.
shareIt spoofs both Platoon and Apocalypse Now. In Platoon, he's writting about how this place (Vietnam) is hell and he's only been here for a few days. In the spoof, the letter is almost word for word.
In Apocalypse Now spoof, it's word for word until they say to each other "I loved you in Wall Street!"
