I'm sorry you felt the need to say this. the movie is hillarious.

reply

ya honestly, i cannot see how any could find this movie not funny, I was in tears the first time I saw this movie lol

How am I funny?

reply

well like he said everyone has their own opinion

reply

I agree. Hot Shots was pure comedy gold.

reply

I don't know all my friends thought it was funny and could not stop laughing. I didn't even laugh once in during the whole movie.

reply

Just watched it again for the first time in years...and yes, definitely still funny.

reply

I mourn the death of your sense of humor

reply

What, if ever, do you laugh about? I don't think it's any fault of this movie.

may be u need to see a doctor or develop a sense of humour, all u need is a prescription. u telling me u sat through this entire movie without even a giggle or a smile?!. How bout Airplane? now thats 10 times funnier than this. All time classic spoof. If u havent seen it then go watch it.

I honestly doubt anyone could watch this movie and not laugh, so either you're lying or you honestly have no sense of humor. We need more spoof movies like this, to hell with Epic Movie, Date Movie, Meet The Spartans, etc. Hot Shots Part Three Dammit!!

reply

I didn't really like this movie. I laughed a few times. Then I watched Hot Shots Part Deux! and could not stop laughing. it was sooo funny.

reply

Lol, yep I definately agree that a part 3 might be in order with all the stupid spoofs and comedies of today that are lacking, not to mention the many other movie series that have made comebacks with additional installments like Indiana Jones did. Might be kind've hard to get Charlie Sheen and the other guy from two and a half men though cus its a hit tv show.

reply

While I agree that this beats ANY of the 'movie' movies, I have to say that it really wasn't THAT funny.

I found Hot Shots Part Deuce much funnier. (Though I didn't think that I would, until I reviewed this one for the first time in years and found that it simply wasn't as funny as I remembered)

Ah well.

reply

Amen, Charlie Sheen has gotten even funnier over the years!
"Hot Shots: part trois" could be the best spoof comedy of this decade!

reply

I agree this movie was awful. I view Sheen was one of those "unfunny comedians" such as Vince Vaughn. This move had weak jokes every 10 seconds.

reply

It's only funny if the absurdity of the originals movies they're spoofing prepared you for the humor. If however you didn't find the original movies absurd, or the original scenes absurd then the spoof is unlikely to tickle your funny bone.

In other words ... ease up pal and see the absurdity next time you see a "serious" show. Then you'll enjoy subsequent spoofs a lot more.

And you'll be more fun to be around.

reply

Yup, only reason someone wouldn't find the movie funny is if they just haven't seen the films being spoofed or are to unintelligent to get the humour.

Agreed, this movie is very funny indeed. Now, I'm going to make myself very unpopular and seem very arrogant, pig headed and psuedo-intellectual- and say this..... I think only smart people find this kind of humour hilarious. The less intelligent a person is, the less funny they find absurdity in film. Thats a generalisation I know, but I'm sure I'm right.
So the guy who started this thread is maybe a little less bright and/or English is not his first language?
