This movie is hauntingly beautiful

It has been a long time since I saw this movie. But, like the many millions of people who have travelled the world, I have been lucky to meet many people. One of the joys of travel is to meet someone of the opposite sex and get to know them without worrying about the future. When you leave them, it usually a nice memory without the messy breakup ending. You depart with wonderful memories of that person - no strings attached. This movie makes you think about that.

The movie is also beautifully shot. It adds to the Hitchcockian impending doom. Julie Delphy is hauntingly perfect in this movie.

Your comments are ironic in that Julie Delpy was in two other movies (related to each other) about this very concept--planning not to worry about the future after a serendipitous meeting while traveling.

I hope you know and like "Before Sunrise" and the even better followup (nine years later) "Before Sunset".

Arciel, I've not been able to watch those movies for more than 15 minutes. Just way too many memories flood back, lol.
