Beginning/Ending (Spoilers)

The beginning (in black and white) was the same as the ending (in color) which was a nice touch, bringing the past and present full circle. At first I thought Walter's voiceover comments were about his former lover Hannah, who saw him off at the airport. Only at the end do we realize that it was a flashback and he was referring to Sabeth. Or, more likely, he was commenting about both women simultaneously.
