It will be released November 7 2006

How is the quality?

It's non-anamorphic, which is unforgivable in any DVD released since 16x9 screens became the norm. However, it is watchable once zoomed to full-screen, assuming your TV and disc player have appropriate zoom modes. I had to rip to mkv and play it with a WDTV Live media player. The sound is fine.

Hopefully it'll be released on Blu-ray with a proper transfer and lossless audio.

I just bought my copy last week. Not sure about your copy, but the transfer on my copy is actually surprisingly decent.
