reply

reply

Yes! Me too! I think it's a masterpiece! :))
I hope it ever comes out on DVD...

reply

no, i don't think people would like to watch him pissing and moaning for an hour and a half. personally i love it, but the general public would hate it.

reply

Great movie indeed, but really the bigger part of the people, the too "normal" boring people, won't understand it and it will seem stupid to them...they lose. As for the funny, it is hell of a funny movie.

i could not disagree with you more, this movie showed humanity as it sometimes is, and not to mention it was absolutley hilarious! this was an offbeat movie, but the acting was much under rated as was the whole movie itself

reply

this movie made me pee my pants! havent seen it for 5 years but MAN, can't wait to find it on dvd. even if it is in japonese.

reply

Let me know if you do find this jewel on DVD. I, too, lost bladder control while watching this one ... well ... almost. I did get a bad case of the hiccups.

I don't know if this movie had a ton more potential for success than it saw. It was a great movie, but part of its appeal was in the fact that there weren't huge-name actors - as it was essentially pre-Carrey and Dunst fame - giving off "look-at-me" roles to bring the movie down. A "cult-classic" appeal of having such a small fan base helps it out. Nevertheless, the movie was great. Even though no one I talk to has heard of it, I enjoy "mocking," people, per se, because they haven't seen such a great movie. :P

I definitely wish they would come out with a DVD for it, as I currentlt have to drive an hour to my cousin's house if I ever even want to watch it. I had many side-splitting laugh watching this movie, and I'm sure I can speak for many when I laugh upon looking down at my bowl of milk after breakfast. :D
