Fans might like to know that Hear My Song is being shown in Liverpool at the Philharmonic Hall on Friday 23 October as part of the Liverpool Guinness Irish Festival. www.liverpoolphil.com

I love this film, having seen it three times but never on the big screen, so am really looking forward to seeing it in the wonderful setting that is Liverpool's Philharmonic Hall.

I recently bought the DVD for £6 in HMV (selling for £10+ on Amazon last time I looked.)

As should everybody who loves cinema, to see not only "Hear My Song" but also possibly the only remaining performance of a cinema organ, with organist resplendent in a kilt, and to witness the only cinema screen IN THE WORLD that rises from below the stage as said organist plays!
