And seeing this as an adult, I can still say this is one of the most genuinely-scary films out there.
In fact, I just realized 'The Conjuring' kinda stole the idea re. the form of the demon/spirit. It more or less resembled the one in this movie.

shareI've never seen this movie but heard of the case. I've always been fascinated with The Warrens since my grandparents knew them and I met them more than once as a kid.

Yes! I saw this when I was a kid also and too this day, I'm 34, it has always stuck out for me as the scariest movie I saw back then. I'll never forget that movie ever and have no idea why I was aloud to watch it lol.
