Nick's personality

Is it just me or MJF's character in this movie seemed more like an a--shole than his characters in other movies or TV shows?

He seemed to be even less sensitive than Alex Keaton. The only time he seemed sensitive was when he played the cop in the movie.

wasn't that kind of the point? That he was a pampered, spoiled and self entitled "actor" who felt the world would be THRILLED just to have him around? Even though he came off so much more likable and bouncing energy, Fox nailed that aspect of the character dead on. He was just such a baby who had no conception of how the real world really worked even though that's all he wanted to do was play a real guy.

That was the point. A lot of Hollywood movie stars haven't a clue about the real world and are self centred a$$holes in their own little bubble.

MJF was great in this as the spoiled actor completely out of his depth.

"You don't want me to grow up, the studio doesn't want me to grow up (can't open door) "I'm the only one who wants me to grow up!" he shouts like a child 
