Cable TV description

I saw this movie was on cable TV a few nights ago. I watched some of it, now I had seen it in the theatres and a few times before but I had a problem with the description that my cable provider had. It said "Four South Bronx Teens go to Manhattan in search of thrills"

Now its been awhile since I've seen this movie all the way through but does it ever give the impression these guys are teens? I don't remember it doing that. I got the impression they were all in their 20s and some of them actually were but never teens. This would be a stretch even considering the amount on tween actors/actresses today most of which are in their 20s. Mario Joyner was about 29, John Leguizamo was 27, Nestor Serrano was the best at being 35! Doug E Doug was the closest being 21. Anyway I know this is kinda stupid and random but i just wanted to know if I was accurate in my thoughts about the ages of the characters.

Yeah, I never saw them as teens when I watched it. Johnny and Willie were a few years out of high school (I would say the characters were 18-19 years old), and Tom and Vinny were post-college as both said they attended college.
